Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress tech innovation legislation survey team surveys Haohai Biological Technology to promote legislation on construction of tech innovation centers

On the morning of April 23, Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress tech innovation legislation survey team (“survey team”) visited the production base of Haohai Biological Technology located in Songjiang District and debriefed the company on its business development and scientific research innovation activities in order to conduct proper legislative survey for “Shanghai Municipal Regulations on Construction of Construction of Technological Innovation Centers”.
 

General Manager Wu Jianying said, “Our company has been based in Songjiang District since its inception in 2007 and every progress we have made would be impossible without the focus on and investment in scientific research innovation and talent development. At the beginning of this year, our ‘International Medical Research and Development and Industrialization Projects’ was written into this year’s Shanghai municipal government work report, which encourages us to move forward.”
 

“Tech innovation legislation will play a guiding and normative role in talent development, policymaking and government actions,” said Wu Jianying, who is a member of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress. He raised 8 specific suggestions in light of his work practice, saying that “the efforts should be focused on creation of a business environment, because tech innovation also requires a good business environment, especially talent policy.”
